Francis Design Studio is a boutique, full-service interior architecture and design studio. Our spaces are informed by the world at large, drawing inspiration from fine art, fashion, history, nature, and travel. We work in close collaboration with artisans, architects, builders, and craftspeople to create meticulously detailed interior environments that seamlessly blend artistry and functionality in both private residences and public spaces. The consistent dialogue we maintain with clients and consultants is the foundation for every project, ensuring each is uniquely tailored and richly nuanced. With over 15 years of experience in residential and hospitality design, our team looks forward to crafting spaces that resonate deeply with our clients and leave a lasting impression on their guests.
Meet Vanessa:
Vanessa Francis is a highly-regarded Austin-based designer who received her Bachelor's in Anthropology and Masters in Architecture from the University of Texas School of Architecture. She spent her post-grad years working at the full-service architecture and design firm, Dick Clark + Associates, where she honed her skills before joining the award-winning architecture firm, Chioco Design. There, she spent her formative years overseeing the interiors of every project alongside the firm’s founder, Jamie Chioco. After 15 years as Head of Interiors at the firm, Vanessa opened Francis Design Studio in 2025. Vanessa’s passion for design also extends to jewelry, having designed a collection of collectible pieces for Shaesby Design.
